Who are these circles for?

The Smarter Business Circles are for business/organisation owners and leaders who are looking to build profitable and sustainable businesses.  Connecting people from across the business spectrum, these circles provide a supportive group for participants to develop greater effectiveness in their roles as business leaders. Those who get the most from these circles tend to be those who are prepared to keep an open mind and to embrace new and unexpected ideas.

 

How do participants benefit?

The primary focus of a Smarter Business circle is to enable the participants to be more effective in their roles as they build sustainable, profitable businesses. The group acts like a non-exec board of directors, providing invaluable support and challenge as new concepts and ideas are explored for each business’s unique needs.

Participants also benefit from one-to-one interaction with the facilitator as well as others in the group. Over the course of the nine months, each person enhances their own ‘strategic blueprint’ for the business.

 

What areas of learning are covered?

Each group will have a specially customised programme of learning depending on the unique needs of the participating businesses. Many fascinating business topics are explored, all with the aim of extracting invaluable lessons and ideas for each owner’s business. You can expect exposure to some radical and unexpected ideas, as you actively work on the strategy for your business.

All groups tend to cover some elements of strategy, business models, new ways of working, and leading people.

How does it actually work?

The group, of up to 10 people, commits to a programme of learning over the course of nine/ten months, meeting regularly for a total of nine times for three-hour sessions. Work continues in between the sessions reviewing thought-provoking ideas and concepts, while interacting with the facilitator and the other group members.

 

How can I get involved?

The ‘Smarter Business circles are presently reserved for existing Smarter Egg clients. However, additional circles will soon become available and interested parties should now register their details to avoid disappointment.
