Who are these circles for?

The Smarter Business Circles are for small business owners who are looking to grow and develop their businesses.  If you’re a ‘solopreneur’, then this circle is designed for you.  Those who get the most from these circles tend to be progressive, open to challenge and ready to embrace new and unexpected ideas.

 

How do participants benefit?

The purpose of this circle is to enable the participants to be more effective in their roles as they build sustainable, profitable businesses. The group acts like a board of directors, providing invaluable support and challenge as new concepts and ideas are explored for each business’s unique needs.

Participants benefit in many ways: greater clarity about the direction of their business, practical and tangible ideas and methods for developing their business, collaborations with co-participants, new business opportunities from within the group and from referrals.

This circle is a place where it’s ok to say you don’t have all the answers. Participants tend to share things they wouldn’t with their spouses, or clients, or colleagues. It’s where *real* discussions take place and significant decisions are made.

 

What areas of learning are covered?

Two main areas of focus: developing the business itself and your personal capability to build the business.

We use some of the best material available on the latest business thinking. We work on the right mindset for developing your business, we develop the kind of habits and behaviours that allow you to succeed. We focus you on where your business stands on the road to maturity, and how to develop the best product-market fit using ideas from the Lean Startup movement.

How does it actually work?

The group, of up to eight people, commits to working together over the course of nine/ten months, meeting regularly for a total of nine three-hour facilitated sessions. Development is continuous as participants are reviewing thought-provoking ideas and concepts in between the sessions, while interacting in a structured way with the other group members.

 

How can I get involved?

You need to take action! Contact Aodan to arrange a chat about whether this is right for you. Aodan can also put you in touch with past and present participants in this programme so you can get an independent view on whether this is the right circle for you.

Up to now, this circle was only privately available to existing Smarter Egg clients. Now, it’s also available to those who haven’t been involved with Smarter Egg before.

It’s entirely possible that this circle may not suit you. Aodan can advise you on other, more applicable options with other organisations, depending on your business circumstances.
