Leadership Circles

Develop the quality of your thinking
High-performing people in leadership roles contribute real value to their companies and customers through the quality of their thinking. The more your success depends on the quality of your thinking, the more you will benefit from having your thinking challenged and developed. Smarter Egg Leadership Circles exist to provide that challenge and development.
Who are these circles for?
These circles are for both experienced and emerging leaders in large organisations, people who tend to be progressive in their work, like to challenge the status quo and embrace new, cutting-edge ideas. Each circle is comprised of people with similar roles within their organisations, essentially a network of peers. But within each circle, we tend to find diversity of thought, perspective and experience.
The leaders who benefit most from these circles are those who commit to the group and the process, engage openly, respect confidentiality fully, share candidly, and actively support and challenge the other participants.
How do participants benefit?
Participation in the Leadership Circle generates many benefits for both the individual and their organisation over the course of the nine month engagement. Participants will build a new, trusted network of peers, generating new opportunities for collaboration across industries. Arising from exposure to business thought leaders and the inputs of their fellow participants, they will generate fresh ideas and new perspectives which they can immediately apply to their work. Each participant will progressively build their own strategic blueprint for greater effectiveness in their role and career.
What areas of learning are covered?
A specially customised programme of learning is developed for each Leadership Circle, depending on the unique requirements of the group. Thought-provoking books and materials from renowned and emerging business thought leaders are used to stimulate learning in areas such as strategy, leadership, business models, psychology and innovation.
How does it actually work?
A Leadership Circle of up to 12 people tends to be formed by personal recommendation or invite. Participants work together on a programme of learning, carefully facilitated by an experienced corporate facilitator/coach. Eight half-day sessions are scheduled over, typically, a nine-month period. The group continues to work in-between the sessions, reviewing thought-provoking materials and interacting with the facilitator and amongst themselves via a private online forum as well as other means.
