Jo,

Interesting point about listening & reading at the same time. I never sit down and read a book while listening to it. I just find the narration too slow as my eye wants to run ahead.

But, I often read and listen in parallel, especially when I need to really get into the book for use with my clients. Quite often, I'll get through the audio version way before I can finish the text. I guess I have a lot more opportunities to listen than I have to sit down and read.

Thanks for the feedback on the website. Lots more to come!

Hi Aodhan
Just caught up on this post. Great idea. I love listening to the radio, music, current affair programmes so why not listen to books I want to read. I have bought audio books for my children when they were smaller but did not think to get one for myself! Like you I want to read more for my work so will look up some of the options you have given.

Your comment on the author's interpertation, their passion & tonality must surely reinforce their words, concepts & tools. Have you tried listening & reading at same time? Using both senses to reinforce the message.

By the way, I like the look & feel of your new website.
Jo.

One interesting postscript to Seth's endorsement of Steven Pressfield's work is that the book is now no longer available on Amazon. The new wave of interest in the concept has translated into book sales.

I'm certainly relieved to have my batch for our forthcoming Overcoming Procrastination programme.

Hoping that the 'Seth effect' doesn't make some of my other hidden gem book choices become unavailable!

Einstein was right about the shortcomings of Quantum Mechanics and so therefore String Theory is also the incorrect approach. As an alternative to Quantum Theory there is a new theory that describes and explains the mysteries of physical reality. While not disrespecting the value of Quantum Mechanics as a tool to explain the role of quanta in our universe. This theory states that there is also a classical explanation for the paradoxes such as EPR and the Wave-Particle Duality. The Theory is called the Theory of Super Relativity. This theory is a philosophical attempt to reconnect the physical universe to realism and deterministic concepts. It explains the mysterious.
